Cosmic Creations, Inc.© presents the newest innovation in a hands only, two wheel, human powered vehicle. This is a bicycle most anyone can easily ride and because it is a hands only bike, riders with limited use of their legs will find the thrill and joy of two-wheel adventure with a Freerider bicycle.

The design and function is similar to a recumbent type bicycle. It is a true two-wheel bicycle and, like the recumbent, it steers left and right by moving the handles forward and back. The front wheel is smaller (20”) to allow ease in mounting, dismounting and steering. The rear has a regular (26”) size wheel giving the rider the same power advantage as any ordinary two-wheel bike. The seat is wide and comfortable and allows for some adjustment forward and back and can be angled up and down. But most importantly, the seat is at wheel chair height and is easy to slide onto. Behind the seat is a back support that comes with a removable cover. The front and back brakes lock so the bike does not scoot away from you while you are trying to slide onto the seat. When the bike is standing still, the landing gear is down and locked. The handle for raising and lowering the landing gear is conveniently stowed so it does not interfere with getting onto the bike. Fully adjustable leg rests come with each bike and optional leg rest hardware is available. When you are seated comfortably, release the brakes and raise and lock into place the handle for the landing gear. The bike is ready to move. All you have to do is press down on the steering handles; then pull up. Down up, Down up, and you are moving. The more experienced you become, the quicker you will get to the float. The float is that freedom point when you are balanced on two wheels and momentum keeps you there. At this point, you press the landing gear handle forward and it retracts. You are now Freeriding on two wheels.

NOTE: The Freerider bicycle is not for everyone. Check with your doctor, physical therapist or trainer and make sure a Freerider is for you. You must be able to squeeze the brake handles and change gears with both thumbs. You must also be able to lift and or press 10 pounds with both arms while in a sitting position to begin riding this bicycle.
